t was in February 2005 that Café Lusitano opened its front doors for the first time. Located in the down town, the centre of Oporto movida, this café/bar primed by the difference. Housed in a spacious venue which had previously been a grain store and a graphic company, Lusitano preserves some of the original interior details and has an eclectic décor with warm and intimate colours that evoke the tradition of historic Oporto cafés or bistros of Paris from thebelle époque.
Its ambiance, along with its music, reveals diversity which makes Lusitano the meeting place for a broad range of people, such as fans of live concerts, fado, tango, theme parties and music that goes from the 80’s to nowadays.
